State Conference
Conference is coming, and I would love to see you all there. I know that some of you don't have active associations or maybe even active groups in your church, but if you are an American Baptist woman and have an interest in learning about what we do as a state group or just in gathering with like-minded Baptist sisters, this conference is for you. We will talk about our projects and hear from our Ohio ministries such as Dayton Christian Center, Heart Reach Neighborhood Ministries, Race Track Ministries, and Koinonia Camp. The second half of our day is a Bible study led by Rev. Jane Gibbons, closing with communion. If you can come on Friday evening, there is a workshop on White Cross and Care & Share. We'll talk about some changes aimed at making the projects easier, especially the reporting part.
I've attached the brochure with all the info so you can print it out and share it, as well as send the registration form in. Please note that if you are coming on Friday and want a motel room reserved, you need to call or email Leslie by May 4th. Her contact information is in the brochure. If you need the brochure in hard copy, I'll be glad to mail it to you. Just let me know by replying to this email or calling 740-454-8446. It's a house phone, so no texts, but a nice answering machine.
