2025-26 State Project
FIRST OF ALL, THANK YOU!!
Because of the generosity of the churches that gave throughout the year, the ladies who were at the 2025 June Conference and the Spiritual Growth Retreat Chair & Board, we achieved our 2024-25 State Project goal of $9,000 to support the Tutoring Project at Deborah's House in Tijuana, Mexico for one year. Deborah’s House is a refuge for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. In this safe environment, the women and children have an opportunity to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. This project will provide an education program for the children staying at Deborah’s House so they don’t fall behind in their education.

A New Serving Area for
Heart Reach Neighborhood Ministries
Goal - $10,000.00
Heart Reach Neighborhood Ministries feeds children at their three community centers as part of their after school and summer Super Kids programs. At the Redondo Community Center they have a fully equipped commercial kitchen with a walk-in refrigerator. Different groups of children are fed breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks daily from this kitchen year-round. During special events they may have over 300 children and adults that receive a meal from that kitchen.
While the cooking area is in great shape and meets the daily demands, the serving area requires remodeling, basically taking it down to the studs and putting in new walls, cabinets and floor. This area is also a staging area for food boxes to families in need. While they have plenty of refrigerator space, they lack freezer storage for donated meats that are given out. This limits the food they can provide for families. With the remodel, they are hoping to add a commercial grade freezer to increase their capacity to feed families.
They can get the job done for $15,000. Any help that will move them toward meeting this goal is deeply appreciated.
