2026–27 ABWM Ohio State Project

FIRST OF ALL, THANK YOU!!

Because of the generosity of the women that gave throughout the year, the Spiritual Growth Retreat Chair & Board, we achieved our 2025-26 State Project goal of $10,000 to support the work of upgrading the serving area at Heart Reach Neighborhood Ministries' Redondo Community Center.  They will better feed both children and adults and will be able to provide food boxes for families in need.  Again, thank you!

Let's Help Camp Woody

Our goal is $10,000.00

Camp Woody was established in 1895 as a part of the Kodiak Baptist Mission in Kodiak, Alaska.  The missionaries were invited to bring the gospel to the indigenous people there, but when they arrived, they realized that many children were living on the street with little to eat.  The immediate need was for an orphanage.  American Baptist Women collected the money to get the orphanage built and a large group of children was taken in. The mission has evolved over the years to include many services.  Summer camps have been added, including a free Family Camp.  Their website states, “Our mission is to provide a summer Bible camp - Camp Woody - for the youth of Kodiak.” That's where we American Baptist women can help again; by covering some of the expenses so the whole family can go.  Remember how close you felt to God singing around the campfire at church camp?  Camp changes lives.
